The Ultra is not simply the oldest expression in the Clase Azul range — it is the culmination of everything the distillery and its artisans are capable of producing at once. Five-plus years in Sherry Oak develops a tequila of cognac-like complexity: dried dark fruit, rich vanilla, toasted oak, caramel, and the elegant sherry influence integrating fully with the Los Altos agave foundation. The ceramic decanter, with its gold, platinum, and obsidian materials, is itself a two-week production — meaning the bottle arrives having required more artisan labor than most spirits require entire distillation programs.
