Description

Bushmills Irish Single Malt 30 Year is one of the finest and rarest expressions ever released from the world's oldest licensed distillery — first matured for 14 years in bourbon barrels and sherry butts, then finished for an extraordinary 16 years in first-fill Pedro Ximénez sherry casks, producing an unparalleled depth of rich dried fruit elegance and complexity, with only 1,500 bottles produced for the first release.

Pedro Ximénez is the sweetest and most intensely fruity style of sherry cask — concentrated raisin, molasses, and dark dried fruit character that infuses deeply into any spirit given long enough contact. Sixteen years in first-fill PX casks on top of 14 years of bourbon and sherry maturation produces a whiskey of genuine aged Cognac territory depth and complexity. Bottled at 40% ABV without chill filtration. Browse all Bushmills at Wooden Cork.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the Bushmills 30 Year among the best Irish whiskeys ever made?

It is widely regarded as one of them — 30 years of aging at the world's oldest licensed distillery, culminating in 16 years of Pedro Ximénez sherry cask finishing, produces a complexity and elegance that very few Irish whiskeys ever achieve. With only 1,500 bottles produced, it is also among the rarest Irish single malts available on the secondary market.
